Curb cuts installed on Hopewood Dr Monday – Wednesday

Brothers paving will be installing curb cuts between Monday and Wednesday, 6 - 8 June, with Thursday 9th as a backup day in case of rain. Please avoid parking on the odd side of Hopewood Drive, based on the attached map, while they are working.

Survey crew in floodplain

Fairfax County plans to send a survey crew into the floodplain sometime during the next three weeks to assess an outfall channel near the Nantucket development, on the other side of the creek. There is no cause for concern.

Outdoor Lighting Proposal Meeting June 28

On Monday, June 28th from 7:30-9:30pm, Outdoor Illumination will present their infill lighting design proposal to the Maintenance Committee and interested homeowners. Please join us to learn more about proposed lighting improvements throughout the WSHA community, and submit your feedback on the proposed solutions via email to Sequoia or Maintenance Committee co-chairs no later than Wednesday July 7, 2021.

New Lighting in Jesse’s Park

The three lampposts in Jesse’s Park have been converted to LED lighting, and all residents are invited to comment on the new look.  Please send your comments either on this website, or by email to westmorelandsquarebod@sequoiamgmt.info, Gail Pearson  (gail@gailpearsonarchitect.com,  and Cat Follin, cfollin@ sequoiamgmt.com. Please let us know before May 7 so the Board can discuss at the May 11 Board Meeting. Once we hear from the community, the Board will consider any next steps to update lighting throughout Westmoreland Square

Trip to see infill lighting in Alexandria April 20

Gail Pearson has organized a field trip for the Maintenance Committee to see different infill lighting alternatives at a community in Alexandria.  They will meet at 8 PM on Tuesday, 20 April at 8159 Fernlake Court, Alexandra, VA 22309.  Please advise Almira Ramadani (almira.ramadani@me.com) and Dan McCarthy (dmccarthy37@gmail.com) if you plan to join.  Space is limited!
